Caleido is a leader in corporate coaching, specializing in helping organizations empower their leaders and teams to excel.
While their coaching methodology was thorough and effective, their operational processes relied heavily on manual tools like emails, spreadsheets, and scattered documents. These fragmented systems consumed valuable time and created operational bottlenecks that pulled their team away from their core mission: coaching.
Caleido faced challenges across multiple fronts. Coaches were burdened with managing coachees’ data, progress, and interactions through inefficient methods. Coachees struggled to access updates, track their progress, or manage their coaching journey effectively. Evaluators had difficulties staying on top of their responsibilities due to the lack of a centralized system, and team members encountered hurdles in understanding their roles and tasks within the broader coaching ecosystem. These inefficiencies collectively limited the organization’s ability to scale and deliver impactful coaching experiences.
To address these issues, we collaborated with Caleido to design Beyond, a bespoke platform that transformed their coaching workflows into a seamless digital experience. Beyond provided coaches with tools to streamline coachee onboarding, track progress across stages, and manage workflows efficiently. Coachees gained an intuitive platform that offered real-time updates, easy access to documents, and visually rich progress reports. Evaluators received a transparent and accessible dashboard, simplifying the management of evaluations, while team members experienced an easy onboarding process with a clear overview of their responsibilities.
Our human-centered design approach ensured that Beyond was intuitive, efficient, and aligned with Caleido’s needs. We started with journey mapping to understand the workflows of coaches, coachees, and evaluators. Based on these insights, we developed user personas and flows, ensuring the platform addressed the unique challenges faced by each group. Wireframes and prototypes were tested iteratively, allowing us to refine Beyond’s design and usability. The final implementation included a design system with reusable UI components to ensure consistency and scalability, and a polished user interface that balanced professionalism with accessibility.
With Beyond, Caleido’s coaching workflow was transformed. Coaches could focus on meaningful interactions with coachees rather than administrative tasks. Coachees had greater autonomy and clarity in their coaching journey. Evaluators became more efficient, and team members could integrate smoothly into the process. Overall, the platform allowed Caleido to scale their coaching offerings while enhancing user satisfaction and operational efficiency.
